Breaking news - 8 days after the Australian Federal Elections 2016 and the threat of sending Australian back to the polls or a by election, Australia FINALLY has an election result - the Liberal Party wins and the oposition (Labor party) concedes defeat.
How many Australians would have done what the Americans are thinking of doing ie "If Trump wins I'm becoming a Canadian!" ie "If Malcom Turnbull and the Liberal Party wins I'm becoming a Kiwi (New Zealander)!" AUSEXIT!?
I demand a recount!!!! Being a democratic country Is that even a peoples' option?
Malcolm Turnbull may have claimed victory because Bill Shorten conceded defeat but as they say (which is a little poltically incorrect) "It aint over 'till the fat lady sings!" and as counting is continuing so although now official - the fat lady hasn't quite sung yet (well she has started her song but she hasn't quite finished it yet) and I am going to predict that Michael Turnbull could be KOed within the 1st 12 months if not 6 months into his new leadership term just like our past 3 previous prime ministers if he does not uphold his popularity and keep pre election promises/policies.
