Saturday 26th August 2017 - Change of Plans For This Weekend

I had intended to go on a day trip to the snow afterwork on Friday but decided to delay it as I had the Sweet Expo to attend this Sunday and the Mad About Modernism event.

Instead on Saturday I took the bus quite early when the shops had just opened first to recharge my Opal Card then onto the Samsung concession to preorder the new Samsung Note 8. Unfortunately the staff could not quite access their system and asked me if I could return in 20 minutes. I said no I couldn't however I could return at the end of the day in the late afternoon. If I made it before 6 pm back to the Samsung concession then I could still make a preorder.

Next stop was to hop on a train to Carriageworks Markets again. There I spent about 2 - 3 hours buying my usual loaf of unsliced sourdough spelt linseed and soy was my choice this time round, my usual block of cheese which I chose the smoked variety this time round, my usual 100g of dried Chinese dates and my usual paper bag of mandarins with their stems and leaves still attached. In addition this time round after walking up and down the market stalls, I stopped for quite a few minutes after purchasing my loaf of sourdough to contemplate whether I should also purchase a sweet pastry or dessert. I usually have a cake or sweet pastry from Flour and Stone and was thinking of the pastashio and rose slice of cake this time round but it didn't look as appealing as it did previously therefore purchased a pastashio, pear and rhubarb croissant from Shepherds Breads where I had purchased my sourdough loaf. I did consider the nutella or caramel bombs which looked delicious but I did not want to risk it with my lactose intolerance. Sorry no photo of my purchases - in my mouth and in my stomach before I can even photograph them! In addition I purchased some other vegetables.

Around 12 noon it was time for me to leave Carriageworks Markets and walk back to Redfern Station to catch the train to Town Hall Station and walk to catch the 324 or 325 bus to Walsh Bay in time for a Beginner Lyrical Jazz Class @ SDC from 1 pm - 2.30 pm. I made it just in time for the bus from Town Hall to Walsh Bay.

Excellent class - a good workout but not too difficult with a substitute teacher. I was a little uncoordinated with the across the floor exercises as I haven't been to a Lyrical Jazz class for quite a while now but soon became used to it.

After class it was back on the bus from Walsh Bay to Town Hall and onto another bus to Chatswood where I returned to the Samsung concession to preorder my Note 8. I was initially advised that only a deposit was required however when I arrived full payment was required. With my last Note ie the Note 7 (exploding phone) I only had to leave my details and a deposit but it took forever to get it on a pre order and then I had to return it in the end. This time if it fails to arrive ontime at the Samsung store I will be demanding a discount. I made it clear to staff that I will not tolerate it this time round as I have so much on during September. They cannot sell my phone as I have paid for it in full in advance.

After dealing with Samsung I had to finish my shopping first at Aldi then at Coles via the STA to inquire about my travel insurance and air fares to Vancouver via HK.

End of day and it is around 6 pm. Time to get home on the bus with all my purchases and have a shower then to bed early for another day of adventures tomorrow!

Totally exhausted!!!!!
