Saturday 14th May 2016 - Lyrical Jazz Beginners Class and Balmoral Beach Swim

Another typical Saturday. Back to my usual Saturday 1 pm - 2 30 pm afternoon Lyrical Jazz Beginners Class with the regular dance instructor. Apparently the choreography was an old one therefore I had to learn it quickly not having danced it previously. There was an awful lot of floorwork and a lot of directional walking in this choreography.

I love the music this instructor selects for his choreography for each class and how he plays it before we learn the choreography. Music selection for this choreography - Beyonce " I was here" from 2012 - simply inspiring.

There is nothing worse then learning a full dance routine and not knowing what piece of music the class will be dancing to - a reason why I didn't enjoy last Sunday's Lyrical Jazz Beginners class I attended as much as I would have liked to.

After class I went for my usual swim at Balmoral Beach. This week I didn't inspect the amount of bruises I managed to get on my legs from the all the floor work. Last week my right lower leg was covered in bruises even with knee pads I had worn throughout the dance routine.

It was another beautiful day at Balmoral Beach today  27 degrees - sunny and the water temperature was still warm enough to go swimming in. Once in the water I didn't want to get out yet again. There really is something about being alone in the sea. It's a place where I can think and has a calming effect.

Spotting any sort of sealife a bonus - I spotted a fish today in the shallow waters - the advantage of the clear waters of Balmoral Beach.
